WALT create and perform a puppet show.
Room 10/11 had a great opportunity to create and perform a puppet show from scratch! They had to write the script, make the stage and props such as a butterfly, a cocoon, a caterpillar and different types of foods. They practised for a few weeks and developed their acting and understanding of stage performance. Take a look at Tiffany's group’s performance. (Please click the title above the picture)
The green, sticky caterpillar
Setting Description: There is a big green hill with trees on it. In the hill, there is a flowing river where you can catch fish.
Narrator: Once upon a time there was a butterfly who laid eggs.
Narrator: 10 days later, the eggs hatched.
Narrator: The caterpillar spent 18 days eating food. They ate apples
Narrator: The one caterpillar became too fat so he climbed a tree and then found a branch.
Narrator: He made a cocoon on his body.
Narrator: 14 days later, the caterpillar came out but he was not a caterpillar, he was a butterfly.
